urban decay eyeshadow primer potion

urban decay eyeshadow primer potion in original.

in my previous review post, i gave it a thumb down. given that it's one of the most popular primers, i had high hopes and was quite disappointed with the failure rate. my eyelids became oily in a few hours.

since my holy grail tfsi is running low, i want to make it work. i don't want to paid 2x the price buying in australia and i feel guilty asking my friend to buy it and she's not making me pay.

i've been doing a few experiments since last week. and i'm happy to annouce... i have a solution!

makeup

the no-makeup makeup must be the trend, because both pixiwoo and lisa eldridge are doing it. i didn't exactly reproduce what they did but getting tips here and there.

eotd

on my eyes, no primer, just benefit creaseless cream shadow / liner in flatter me. it's a pretty taupe with some slight shimmer. the eye makeup still looked perfect when i removed makeup 5hrs later.

like yesterday, wnw cream liner in black was 'pushed' to the lashline. remember how i said i wasn't sure if i like this liner or not? i like it. as long as i don't put it near my outer lashline, i don't have smudge problem.

lash was coated with maybelline colossal mascra in glam black.

sn eyeshadow in faerie

silk naturals eyeshadow in faerie. it was a gift with order over $10.

this eyeshadow was previously featured, but the photo didn't turnout too good. since i'm wearing today, i took some photo to better demonstrate the color. unfortunately it didn't quite capture the pretty shimmer.

eotd wearing sn eyeshadow in faerie

for the base, 2 layers of sn stick 'em eyeshadow enhancer was applied all over the eye area, followed by benefit creaseless cream shadow/liner in flatter me.

sn eyeshadow in faerie was applied all over the eyes, top and bottom, with more colors concentrated at the lids area.

rimmel glam'eyes mascara review

rimmel glam'eyes mascara

rimmel london glam'eyes mascara in midnight black. rrp at around aud$19. i bought it a while ago when all rimmel mascaras were reduced to aud$10.

rimmel glam'eyes mascara - the brush

it comes with a slim flexible brush. thought i'm not quite sure how the flexibility improve application. you need to apply more force to move it and that is too much force to apply mascara.

this is  my mascara of the moment, after frustrated with the previous mascara of the moment, which i decided to ditch after using it for less than a month. yes, i was so unhappy with it. i normally try to prolong the life of mascaras for up to 3 months.
