revisiting faerie

sn eyeshadow in faerie

silk naturals eyeshadow in faerie. it was a gift with order over $10.

this eyeshadow was previously featured, but the photo didn’t turnout too good. since i’m wearing today, i took some photo to better demonstrate the color. unfortunately it didn’t quite capture the pretty shimmer.

eotd wearing sn eyeshadow in faerie

for the base, 2 layers of sn stick ’em eyeshadow enhancer was applied all over the eye area, followed by benefit creaseless cream shadow/liner in flatter me.

sn eyeshadow in faerie was applied all over the eyes, top and bottom, with more colors concentrated at the lids area.

wnw cream liner in black was ‘pushed’ to the root of the lash –  a tip picked up from lisa eldrige’s no makeup makeup. it was mostly concentrated at the center of the eyes. i also avoided lining the outer 1/3 of lashline to avoid smudges to my lower eyes.

the eye makeup was completed with maybelline colossal mascra in glam black. btw, i ended the relationship with rimmel glam’eye masara. it was a frustration 2-week relationship…

look of faerie

on  my lips, silk naturals lip color in pout + rare berry.

look of faeire

i was sort of after the no-makeup makeup look. this eyeshadow is quite sheer with purple shimmer. however the color is more intense due to the cream shadow that was also used as base. in the past when i wear this eyeshadow, the shimmer seems to fade after 2-3 hrs. today, the shimmer is still there after 5hrs!

i don’t know if it’s too early to say that the benefit cream shadow liner is amazing. i bought it last week (at 50% off at myer!) and only used 2x. it’s a nice color, but i want to do more tests as a ‘base’ before posting a review.

@mng and @vita, yes it’s a lovely color. unfortunately it was only available as gift with purchase.
