traditionally post christmas shopping is the biggest shopping event of the year. major sales everywhere.

there are many essential things i need to buy. new wardrobes for work. new shoes for work. or even new handbags for work. they're for work so they are classified as 'essentials'. something i need to update badly.

however to date i haven't bought anything 'essential'. there's nothing interesting on sale. either the price tags still look scary after discount or whatever put on the sales table look scary. seriously, do people fancy anything on the sales table?

even the not-so-essential stuffs like beauty box sets. even at 20%-30% off at major department stores don't look attractive.

and when i read post x'mas 'haul' posts, i'm jealous. how do people end up getting something?! why i can't find anything?!

ummm... actually, i did end up getting something.

bras.

now that i bought them, they're 'essentials' too! they weren't part of my shopping plan.

it's been quite a while since i bought new bras. mainly because it's so hard to find normal bras that fits me.

what do i define as 'normal'? plain nude colors. do not show through whatever i wear.

majority of bras in lingerie departments are colorful with laces. there was once upon a time i love buying those stylish bras, but find that they look bad under t-shirts or most what i wear. and eventually i don't wear them much. they're pretty like fashion, but i can't get out of the house wearing them!

there weren't many choices. so after spending roughly 30 mins in the fitting room going trying out all the 'normal' bras i can find, i ended up with berlei's barely there. the only one that has my size and fits me quite well. it's usually hard to find my size when there's a sales event going on.

it retails aud$60 and is 30% off at david jones at the time of purchase. i like it so much i went back the next day to get more, while the sale was still going on.

i still need to buy something for work...
