entertainment

some of the dvds i watched recently. of course i watched more than the ones listed below.

dvd - robin hood prince of thieves

i watched the movie when it came out. love the theme song. 'everything i do, i do it for you...' how romantic.

watching it again reminded me that i was at one stage crazy about kevin costner. was he hot back then!!

i was still crazy about him in the bodyguard. he was so cool! there's this party scene where a woman walked up to him and flirted, 'i've been watching you over there.' he replied, 'and you can go back and keep on watching.' how cool was that!

but i lost interest in him since his next movie. can't remember what it was. some action movies? i wasn't even interested when the movie preview came out.

dvd - the mummy triology

i'm not a fan of action movies, but i love this. i watched the first 2 movies the mummy and the mummy returns. because.... brendan fraser was hot! it's amazing that he still looks the same almost 10 years later in the last one the mummy: tomb of the dragon emperor. /drool. but i was disappointed that rachel weisz wasn't in the last one.

i still enjoy watching part 1 and part 2 again. i didn't watch part 3 at the movies because it didn't look interesting. and i was right! no wonder rachel weisz turned down the role (tho i read it's not her official reason).

some people thought that i should be interested in this one because there were 3 'big' chinese stars in the movie. i'm not a fan of any of them. they are 'big' because they get to go to hollywood.

dvd - sex and the city the movie

/drums rolling. /screaming!

i'm a fan of satc. i was so looking forward to the movie. i watched it at the movies and love it. i still love it watching dvds again.

if you're not satc fan, you don't know what's the hype all about.

love love love samantha. she's my favorite character.

love love love mr big. he's hot hot hot!

cynthiaKevin Coster had some good movie days and yes I like the body guard with Whitney Houston in it. The songs were so touching with the movie in it.

Sexy And The City is my favorite too, I love how they flash those brand names stuff - i.e Jimmy Choo shoes - something that I always wanted but highly will never able to afford or own it. I wish I had Samantha personality but I feel like I'm more of Miranda a control freak.

anniei used to watch satc and i loved the characters, but not the actresses. they are just waaaay too old to play roles like that. and their lives, especially carie's is so unrealistic. a columnist is able to live in Manhattan and buy $600/pair on shoes? but most of all, SJP's acting is horrible, in satc, in failure to launch, in the family stone... *sigh* :p

JennySpeaking of SEX AND THE CITY, I was a big fan and in the last months of my pregnancy I did nothing but laying in bed watching the satc marathon. When Noel was 6 months old and everytime I turn on the show, she would stopped all her playing and danced with the tune. Funny!

@annie, yes carrie's is so unrealistic! they wrote the storyline that she has a book, but does being author earn that much money to afford those high fashion?

@jenny, there's no girls i know who doesn't like satc! noel is a fan too! so cute :)
