sasa is one of my favorite store in hk. it's a must visit place. lots of skin cares and makeups. most are at reduced price. best of all, the sales people aren't typically pushy. i don't know about the service nowadays. back in the last century, sales people at makeup counters are really scary. if you're being targeted as their prey, it's really hard to get out.

i was lamenting in my previous post that i probably will not get my hands on the masks anytime sooner. i knew that sasa has an online store but it just didn't occur to me that they might be selling it! i was very excited when i discovered that they do sell what i'm after!

so... i finally decided to place an order tonight.

we just had another interest rate rise. it's bad news for paying mortgages. sadly it hits me. but it also drives the aud$ up up up. the exchange rate is good. around aud$1 to usd$0.91.

i don't know if the order went through or not. i was at the last step of check out process and got 'server error'. items in the shopping cart is also gone! there's nothing in the order history but it's better to ask than placing another duplicated order.

i'm feeling pissed now. i really want to buy something. and... it's x'mas. the shipping might take forever! i hope they give me a reply soon...

update 5/12/09. got their support email but they're not addressing the issue. they need someone who understand english to solve my problem! anyway i tried another order again since i don't think the previous order went through because it's in my order history. failed and shopping cart items gone again.  if you're going to have error, fine, but why clearing out my cart content?

i've ordered from quite a few online stores and nothing quite frustrated like this!
