i bought more sigma makeup brushes about 3 months ago. it's taking me so long to write this review because i was waiting for good pictures that can go with my post. iphone cam really sucks when taking closeup shots and i don't know why i was so stubborn sticking with it. >.>

not saying that pictures taken now are great. they are clearer now. that's the best i can do as a noob photographer. :)

sigma makeup brushes eyes kit. 7 professional brushes for the eyes plus a travel sized blending brush.

i already own the 12-brush set. you can read about my previous order, and part 1 and part 2 of the review.

i decided to get more brushes because i'm lazy to wash my brushes everyday or every other day. it's frustrating when the brush can't be re-used because it's not cleaned!

i was thinking about buying individual brushes but ended up with the eyes kit because it's more value for money. each eye brush costs usd$9. this kit of 7 brushes costs usd$45.

i like that the brush name is printed in addition to the brush code / number. if you're a beginner, it tells you what the brush does. i prefer to go by names than numbers.

old vs new

comparison with the old brush (bottom), where only the brush number / code was printed. that number makes no sense to me at all! unless you know mac's brush numbering system.

old brushes (part of complete kit 12-brush set) and new brushes side-by-side. they look the same to me. they also function the same.

do i like them?

yes! yes! yes! i'm very happy with these brushes. love the price. love the quality.

apart from the gifted blending brush, the brushes have no smell at all. the smell was something that i complained with my original purchase, but it goes away after several washes. so it doesn't bother me.

sigma recently released new sets of colorful brushes which is the same as the 12 brush set that i already owned, but with pretty colorful handles. i'm so tempted to get them! because i already owned so many brushes i'm trying hard holding back the purchase, but don't know for how long...
