this is one reason i like her tutorials. i can always refer to her blog posts to review looks instead watching the video from the beginning to end all over again. it saves bandwith. we don't have real unlimited download plan.

i didn't intend to do this look. the original plan was a simple clean look with liquid eyeliner for a casual friday. i got extra time this morning and did my under eyeliner similar to this look.

in the tutorial, the bottom eyeline was achieved with 3 colors. i don't have the eyeshadow she used - lunasol palette. in fact i've never heard of this brand. so i used bys 8 color diamond palette (previous review here). colors used are numbered are in order from outer corner to inner corner.

look of the day

i've been taking photos at the garage before we leave home. that seems the only place i can take better shots. however because it gets a lot of sunlight the result is usually lighter than in real life. pics taken from my iphone is usually lighter. so the become even lighter!

on my top lids, a pinkish color washed all over the lid and lined with savy by db liquid eyeliner in blueberry.

on my lips, boujois sweet kiss natural lipstick in rose delicat. this was another recent purchase. love this lipcolor!

it's going to be long weekend. i hope i'll have time to take pics and write reviews on some of my recent buys.
