the other wet n wild coloricon palette sent to me by cynthia. this one is lust. i had a lust after this palette after seeing it on some beauty blogs and used by yt makeup gurus.

i like the packaging. it has the security sticker which is easy to peel and doesn't leave a mark.

i like to stress about not leaving a mark because in australia, some stores use bad quality sticky tapes to prevent customer playing with products.  they are hard to peel off and leave some yucky sticky marks that need to be cleaned. i was once told that nail polish remove does the trick. yes, it removes the mark. at the same time remove some paints on the product.

what is color of lust? i often think about something red. the colors in this palette is mainly pink and mauve tones.

the colors are matte on the left side and shimmery on the right side.

the colors under the downlight. you can see how shimmery the colors on the right side are. however the colors don't look so true here. they now look more browns than the actual mauves.

when i tried the greed palette, i was disappointed that it creased badly and the color were gone by the end of the day. but with this one, though i didn't wear as long, after around 5 hours, it didn't crease and the color only faded slightly. hmmm... something to do with wnw's quality control?

the look of lust

i don't think i look that lusty with a palette named lust... lol!

usually when yt makeup gurus demonstrate tutorials with palettes with this many colors, they're able to use them all! without remembering how they do it, i looked at the 6 colors and don't know how i can use them all without making a mess.

the lightest matte color was applied all over lid. the mid tone matte color was applied to the area between lashline and the crease and the darkest matte color on the outer corner and as eyeliner all around the eyes.

the color doesn't look like the colors in this palette after applied on the eyes. i didn't use the greyish shimmery color from the palette, but the result looks more grey than mauve. too much blending again?

i don't think this look suites me. or i needed to apply more color above the crease?

on my lips, rimmel lipstick in asia and elf super gloss in pink kiss.

i stayed at home and didn't go to work today. when i know i'm not going out with a look, i like to try different looks and apply makeup differently. that's the fun playing with makeup.
