i've heard so much good things about wet n wild makeups. however it's also one of those brands not available in australia. many thanks to cynthia who sent me some palettes to play with. i was super duper happy to get them!

wet n wild coloricon palette in greed. it's a pretty neutral colors with greys and blacks. looks perfect to create a simple neutral look or dramatic smokey eyes.

however the staying power isn't that great. not only the colors crease badly even with eye primer used, they're also barely there by the end of the day.

the greedy look

the matte mid-tone color all over the lids, lightest matte color on the brow bone. shimmery grey and black on the lash line. completed the eyes with liquid eyeliner and mascara.

somehow the colors aren't as pigmented as they look. and it looked more brown than smokey black on my eyes. too much blending?

i was aiming for a more dramatic smokey eye look so i used brown on my brows so that they don't take too much attention away from the eyes. however either the product isn't as pigmented as it looks or i was too light-handed with application.

this is one rare picture-perfect moment. revlon photoready foundation was used, applied with finger. i find that i use less product with fingers than foundation brush and results in a more natural look.

this was taken indoor near window. it looks more like my usual simple liquid eyeliner looks instead of subtle smokey eyes look.
