wearing scaredy cat cosmetics eyeshadow in insomnia all over the eyes, top and bottom, and black rose minerals eyeshadow in snow at inner corner.

i was surprised i didn't look like i cried with this pink, as it's very pink. and quite bright too! i usually steer away from colors like this. i like it. a lot!

not wanting to divert attention away from the pink, i just lightly dotted the top lash line with brown gel liner and completed the look with a mascara.

this is what the eyeshadow looks like. as mentioned in previous post, there are probably some label mixups so i hope i have the name of this color right.

i originally didn't intend to use the color all over the lids. but since i suck at swatching colors, it's better to demonstrate the color this way. and it's weekend, it doesn't matter that much if i made mistake. i have time to take them off.

on my lips, silk naturals lipcolor in bon bon. yes, again!

the staying power of this particular color is quite good compared with other colors i tried. i also applied the eyeshadow differently, i don't know if that helps.

i previously mentioned in the brief review that it's hard to get the color out of the vial. since it's weekend and i had sometime, i spent a bit of time getting the color out on a clean small dish and padded the color onto the brush prior to application. it's easier to control the amount of color this way too, to ensure i have the same amount and intensity on both eyes.

by the time i remove makeups after about 6 hrs of wear, the colors are still nicely on the eyes. just a teeny bit of color deposited on the crease.

i'll have to re-visit colors i used previously with this preparation to see if they can last this long. unless i potted them to jars, this is quite time consuming and i can only do it on weekends.
