i was going to do top 10 products, but since there are many top 11 products posts floating around the beauty blogspheres, i'll just be a copycat and do what everyone are doing.

it's not easy to narrow down to only 11 products from my ever growing stash.

here are my picks on makeup products that i love and often reach out for, in no particular order.

1. black rose minerals eyeshadows

obviously this has to be on my list. ever since discovering this company in the beginning of the year, i've been hooked. it changed my mind about how great mineral eyeshadows can be.

great eyeshadows. great pigmentation. great staying power.

i also use them to benchmark eyeshadow primers.

2. sigma eyeshading brush e55

i have quite a small collection of sigma makeup brushes. there are the best and the worst. there are love and hate. and this one, E55, is the one that i've using everyday in recent months.

since i don't have much time for makeup, this is the perfect size for all-in-one. it's used to pad colors on the lids, get that deeper color on outer v and blended out, the tip with leftover colors to line the lower lashline... in most of my eye looks on working days, they're created with just this one brush.

3. rimmel eyebrow pencil in #002 hazel

though this is rarely mentioned in looks i do, i use this brow pencil a lot. the color is obviously too light for me but i love using because it's less obvious if i make mistakes. perfect for busy mornings too!

4. bourjois mineral matte mousse foundation in #82

this instantly got my love. reviewed here.

this is another frequently used product but rarely mentioned in looks i do. i love the quick application. just swirl a kabuki brush and buff into the skin. since it closely matches my skin it doesn't matter much if it didn't cover every skin on my face. another perfect product for busy mornings.

5. nars orgasm blush

it's nars orgasm! do i need to say more? it's a gift from a very good friend and i'm so thankful for it. it's the best gift ever!

6. maybelline colossal volum' express mascara

though it didn't live up to the hype of 9x the volume, it makes my barely there lashes more visible and keeps them curled. read my review here.

this is one rare mascara that i love and keeps repurchasing. priceline had buy 1 get 1 free promotion on maybelline eye products a while ago. i went a bit crazy and stocked up.

7. de leon cosmetics eye primer

this is the only indie eye primer (i've tried so far) that works for me. you can read about the review here. i've used up the sample that was sent for review. it's on my to-buy list and i'll get it when my wallet has recovered from all the bleedings i did to it during black friday sales.

8. morgana cryptoria lipsticks

i love morgana cryptoria lipsticks and wish i had discover them earlier. they are smooth to apply and the colors that i bought are so beautiful.

if i must choose, apple plum is my absolute favorite color from my mc collection. here's one of my favorite looks wearing this lipstick.

9. silk naturals lip balm

there were 2 lip balms that were shortlisted when i made this list, but this ends up on the list because i use it everyday. sooths my lips. love the subtle scent (even though it goes away very quickly).

it's everywhere accessible - in my makeup drawers, in my lipstick case, in my office drawer, in my bedside table drawer. yes, i stocked up a bit after getting the first one.

10. garnier miracle skin perfector bb cream in light

people have been arguing that it's strictly not bb cream. i can't say much since i've only used 1 and only 1 prior to it.

treat it as tinted moisturizer, it's quite good. i love the light texture and blends perfectly into my skin. another pefect product for busy mornings. reviewed here.

11. physicial formula gel cream liner for brown eyes

i have 3 sets and this is my most frequently used set. one of the best affordable gel liners out there. doesn't smudge (99.99% of the time) and great staying power (except the purple which will fade slightly over time). use it to tightline, to draw that nice cat eye flick, to line the waterline... read my reviewe here.
