makeup

i wore a chocolate colored top today. look of the day is a dark brown smokey eye to match the outfit.

i don't usually match colors used in makeup with outfit. there are also no rule that they have to match. you can have completely different color tones if you want to.

brown smokey eyes - close up

close up look of the eye makeup.

dark brown brows. black eyepencil as base within the crease area. shimmer dark brown across the whole lid. matte light brown to tone down the shimmer in the crease area. tightline top lid with the same black eyepencil. applied green eyepencil to outer corner of lower lids and blend away.

brown smokey eyes

the over look. it looked good in the morning. but the green eyepencil smudged and made a mess by mid-day.

products used

bb cream as foundation.

dj cream concealer in light / medium.

l'oreal brow colorist in dark brown.

bourjois contour clubbing eyepencil in black party. used it as base prior to eyehshadow and line the top eyeline.

urban decay eyeshadow in ydk. a shimmery dark brown.

mac eyeshadow in lyrics. a light brown. i often used this as eye base.

rimmel soft kohl eyepencil in jungle green. <-- i don't like this because i always ended up looking messy a few hours later.

rimmel sexy curves mascara.

mac blush in mocha.

revlon colorstay lipcolor in choclate and burgundy. initially chocolate was used. but it seemed too dark hence burgundy was layered on the top.
