i haven't been updating much lately because school has started. i try to go to bed earlier so that i can wake up earlier next morning and have enough time for makeup. however i find that there's still not enough time! still rushing through putting on makeup while getting the kids ready. thankfully my son can look after himself and helped to look after his little sister. yes he's very sweet! :)

i've been doing simple makeup. it's quick. besides, it's hot. don't feel like slapping too many things on my face.

i won't list details of products used since i can't really remember the detail. but i'll mention some new things and will do review posts about them later.

i've been using bb cream as base on days i go to work. i don't usually totally bare my skin when i go to work. just feels like it makes my skin appears better and less shiny. some days i'll apply bb cream on all over the face. some days i'll just use it to cover up here and there.

black brows with minimal look... i think it looks 'harsh'.

it looks cakey here because of sunlight. it's basically same makeup as previous day. but i changed the brow colors to brown. doesn't it look softer and better? i also applied mascara, which seems to open up my eyes and makes me look less tired (compare with the above look where mascara wasn't used).

i decided to open a new tube of mascara after using maybelline lash stiletto mascara for a while. it's not bad. but it's not that great. it's not doing anything much to my lashes.

the new mascara is maybelline volum' express the falsies. it's been a while that i'm impressed with a mascara. stay tuned for a review post about this!

another day of simple look wearing new eyeshadows ordered from silk naturals, part of it's new valentines collection. pretty colors. i will also do a review post about them soon.
