smokey brown eyes seems to be the current trend. there are quite a few of this look on yt. i love the subtleness of brown instead of black for a smokey eye look. not too dramatic for office environment. i did this look sometimes last week.

look of the day was created with glamour doll eye eyeshadows in show off (pretty shimmery medium brown), chocoholic (shimmery dark brown, like dark chocolate) and aqua foil (shimmery turquoise).

i was worried using all shimmery colors may not work. but after much blending it's not so overly shimmery.

show off, the medium brown, was the main color used. applied all over lid and blended the edges with blending brush. the dark brown was applied to the outer v. the color was also blended out with blending brush. aqua foil was applied to the lower lashline.

the result wasn't too dramatic with this combination.

the photo did not do justification to the pretty bright aqua lower liner. the pop of color was quite pretty and brighter in real ife.

on my lips, revlon colorburst lipstick in soft rose and laura mericer gloss in <color to be updated>.
