silk naturals cream eyeliner in black cherry. one of my toys that came with my recent order.

based on the color shown on the website, it's quite pink. based on the color sample picture shown on the website, it's quite purple. the real thing is dark deep cherry red.

i was a bit disappointed with the size when i got it. thinking about how much you need to apply as eye liner, i think it lasts forever! if you have seen eye liner pots that comes with major cosmetic companies, such as bobbi brown gel eye liners, the container is big but you only have that much product.

i was a bit adventurous when i chose red. red on the eyes... it could look awful. it could make you look like you're crying. but at $6.50, what can i loose? if i don't like it i can always order something else.

but it looks great on me! just apply very thin line near the lash. just by itself, or on top of black eye liner, such as my favorite.

i've never tried gel eye liners so i can't compare that. it's easier to apply than liquid eye liner. it's easier to control. maybe it's the product itself. maybe it's the eye liner brush.

as for staying power, considering it's creamy formula, i'm surprised to see the line is still there by the end of the day. if you don't know me, most eye liners fades by mid-day.
