there's no sephora in australia. these were included the goodies gifted by peony in love. i love trying out new things, esp lipsticks and lipglosses. thanks so much for these :)

the colors tested at the back of my hand. they are quite glossy but very sheer. precious pink is basically clear. rosy glow has a berry kind of glow. bronzed beauty look reddish on the tube but bronzy at the back of my hand. it's my favorite because it's darkest out of the 3. it has some color when applied on bare lips.

it's lipgloss so don't expect any staying power (unless it's mac lipglass). the glossiness and the color faded after an hour or so.

look of the day

it's weekend so it's the usual natural casual look. i thought about playing more with makeups but i was going to send the boy to chinese school and i don't want to stand out in the crowd.

i went for the no-makeup look today. note that no-makeup look and no-makeup are 2 different things.

products used:

• dj cream concealer was used under the eyes, side of the nose and mouth
• edm mineral foundation in fairly light neutral
• black eyeshadow to fill in the brows. i used hard candy in cyber loner, which is a metalic black. i believe this is discontinued.
• rimmel sexy curves mascara. love love love love love this!
• lip balm
• no eyeshadow. no blush.

wearing the gloss in rosy glow. this doesn't look so good when used alone as my lipline is naturally unevenly darker than other parts of the lips. i've used this color on top of other lipsticks and it looks better.
