savvy by db mineral blend loose eyeshadows from the $2.99 stash. all savvy by db products were buy 2 get 1 free at priceline last week.

not everything from the $2.99 stash are good. liquid eyeliners are the only ones i'm happy with. not too impressed with eyeshadows (it creases even with help of eye primers) and eye pencils (hard to draw and fades very quickly). haven't tried the lip pencils. if you have, let me know what you think.

the first complaint i have to make, as usual... priceline, please use good quality tapes! hate the sticky residues. or savvy by db should consider sealing the jars so priceline doesn't have to sticky tape products to guard them.

i got chocolate, aquamarine and sea green.

there weren't many choices. i don't know if only 4 colors were available or only 4 colors left.

they come with sifters. however i don't like the mess it makes. i like shaking the powder onto the cap while it's closed. when the cap is opened, there are quite a lot of amount on the rim of the jar and they fall off. bad jar design?

colors were picked up with finger from the rim of the jar. chocolate seems very pigmented. the other 2 needs a few more swipes to get this intensity.

look of the day

aquamarine was used to apply all over the lid.

i usually link the name aquamarine with something bright, bluish and greenish. think fresh clean color of ocean. but this color is greyish. wonder why it was given this name.

of course i chose this color not because of its name but because... there wan't much choice.

either i was really tired, or this look makes me looked tired. i know, i have to stop wowing too late into the night and go to bed earlier!

the staying power is not that great. i noticed it started to crease 4hrs later. i'll play with other colors some other days to see if they have the same staying power (or the lack of).
