it's been raining and wet for the last 2 (or 3?) weeks in sydney. i don't feel safe wearing a non-waterproof mascara. so i opened new tube that was purchased a while ago.

rimmel's 100% waterproof mascara.

this is a pretty ordinary mascara. nothing stunning. it coats the lashes nicely. doesn't make my almost-invisible lashes appear long nor thicker.

but it holds the curls exceptionally well!

without curlers my lash naturally points downwards. because of it's 'nothing exceptional stunning' inital impression, i didn't expect much. i was really surprised by the time i remove my makeup at the end of the day that my lashes are still nicely curled up!

if you have naturally long and pretty lashes and you want a natural look, this is for you.

but for me, it's not something i'd purchase again, unless it's a bargain.

this is how the wand looks. the bristles are tightly packed. i love how the product is not clumped when it's pulled out. (still couldn't get over the short-lived mascara that was thrown away within a week of use!)
