most quick makeup tutorials are 5 mins and under. for me, i have too many essentials i need to put on my face. those little things add up. no matter how hard i try i just couldn't make it 5 mins.

the most essential thing is not to look like a panda. i have bad dark circles. they could've been better if i have enough sleep. but i'm an owl. i can't sleep too early.

i prefer creamy concealers for cover ups. i have fine lines around the eyes. powder concealers accentuates those lines. creamy formula makes them less visible. the best is bobbi brown creamy concealer, but it's too pricy. i found a good alternative, which i've been using quite regulary if you read my previous posts, but it's also discontinued. :( i need another cheaper alternative.

foundation is a must. i don't have good skin. mineral powder foundation is the quickest application. but i've fell in love with bb cream recently. it's quite quick if applied with fingers.

brows is a must too. it frames the face. but i'm not very good with filling in brows. i used to follow the color leftover by the tattoos. but the colors has fainted so much it's taking me so much time trying to draw the perfect brows. i was hoping brow stencils will help but the ones i bought are too thick. here's an example of how hideous they look on me...

here's a quick rundown of how i did my 10 min face today.

conceal the under eye area, side of nose, around the mouth and any blemishes with david jones cream concealer in light / medium.

cover the whole face with bb cream.

set the above products with shu uemura translucent loose powder.

fill in the brows with a black unbranded brow pencil <-- this is old and the label has faded.

prime the eyes with too faced shadow insurance. even if i don't put on any eyeshadows, the foundation / powder on the eye area will still crease!

a wash of bourjois eyeshadow in rose perle all over the eyes. this is very pale shimmery pink. when you're in a hurry just apply single pale or light color with a big eyeshadow brush on top and bottom lids. with pale or lighter color you can't make mistake!

bourjois clubbing waterproof eye pencil in black party. my absolute favorite black eyeliner. most eye pencil will eventually smudge and this is the only thing that keeps my eyes clean.

rimmel sexy curves waterproof mascara. love it!

edm blush in walkie talkie. sometimes i skip blush.

rimmel lipstick in heavenly.

for once the i don't look too bad with a quick makeup look. that's why i posted a photo! lol!

my previous photos from quick makeup failed because i looked tired. somehow the key is the lips. i look better with stronger lip colors.
