i received the perfect package that came all the way from united states, sent by peony in love. (thank you! thank you! thank you!) i had to stop working to have a look good at my new toys. shhh... don't tell the boss!
goodies from the package:
- neutrogena lipstick in just whisper
- sephora lip gloss set in bronzed beauty, rosy glow and precious pink
- revlon photoready makeup liquid foundation in shell
- nyx false eyelash
- too face shadow insurance
- sigma makeup eyeshadow in indian girl
- nyx brush
- nyx trio eyeshadow with baby pink, white pearl and baby blue (not shown in pic because one of the color shatters into powder and needed cleanup)
i'm so happy to have new products to play with and will be able to post reviews on new products. they should be more interesting than my exisiting collection, which most are already discontinued <-- i don't think anyone is interested reading about them.
stay tuned for the reviews!
look of the day
most of the goodies are used for today's look.
i was going for a nude look. i know, nude makes me look sick. but i really wanted to try it again because it look good on others. i so want to make it works on me.
so i call it the sick look. the husband jokingly asked if i was alright and if i needed to stay home. =/

you probably are going to say after looking at fotd, you don't really look sick. you haven't seen other pics i took today. i selected the best one to show my readers. it's an image thing. =)
i'm looking a bit paler because the foundation is too light. i swear i tested the lightest 3 colors on my jawline. vanilla was too light. nude was too dark. shell looked perfect. yet when applied on my face, i look like geisha! well, close...
thankfully i didn't look hideously pale. i think it could be perfect when my slightly tan that i got from summer goes away. summer is now gone and i'm looking forward to have my paler skin back.
i was going after a subtle smokey eyes with sigma makeup eyeshadow in indian girl. it looks shimmery dark greyish. the color seems pigmented tested at the back of my hand but isn't very intense when applied. well, it's good if you want something really subtle.
on my lips it's neutrogena's just whisper. i like the natural light brown when tested at the back of my hand. but it doesn't look the same when applied on my lips. i do look sick. but not as sick as how my old nude lipsticks did to me.
to make me appear healthier, the lips were glossed with sephora lip gloss in rosy glow.
mini-review
revlon photoready foundation
besides the color is too light, i quite like the consistency. my face didn't shine by the end of the day. but on the other hand, i do feel my skin is tighter. i'll try again tomorrow with a better moisturized skin.
too faced shadow primer
it's the best! i usually have major crease problem with my right eye - all shadows ended up on the crease. but with this primer, only very minor crease and the eyeshadow still stay where they were!

I purposely don't apply a lot of stuff on my face, for blush I use very minimal. I'm so glad you are enjoying your toys.
tho models look natural and simple, they actually wear a lot of makeup to achieve that look.
