i think i spent almost $100 this week on makeup alone... extremely guilty yet extremely happy! ha!

physician formula baked collection wet / dry eyehshadow in baked spices (reduced to $10) and cheek palette cream to powder blush in rose palette (reduced to $7).

physician formula products are in general aud$20+. it's an irresistable offer when it's more than 50% off! i'm guessing these products are going to be phased out.

you probably don't see me doing a lot of neutral / natural brown looks. that's mainly because most of the browns i have aren't very pigmented. i don't know if it's because they're old or the products simply sucks. browns is one of the must-have basic colors. i've been looking around and waiting for big sales.

i'm quite happy with this eyeshadow palette. it's quite pigmented and staying power is great.

i also love the cream blush. love the natural rosy color.

i also got bourjois liner clubbing liquid eyeliner but the pic turned out blurry. i'll take better pics with daylight on weekends.

look of the day

it's refreshing to look more natural once a while. this natural look is different from the natural looks i normally wear on weekends, which basically with minimal makeup, when i try to let me face breath some fresh air.

somehow i think the look would be perfect if i wear some big color contacts. the husband strongly opposed such idea. his reason being, i spent almost $4000 to have lasik so i don't have to wear contacts again. at the moment i think the contacts i could find online are still quite expensive esp with shipping added. if i'm getting contacts i'll have to invest on the contact solutions again... i'll wait till we're not so tight.

it's also my first time wearing liquid eyeliner. i've attempted to play with liquid eyeliner in the past but they didn't turn out too good. i was playing with fire with i used it this morning. i won't have time to fix if they turn out bad. the lines were crooked and thankfully i was able to fix it with cream liner.

pf baked eyeshadow in baked spices - lightest color all over the lid. medium color on the crease. darkest color near the outer corner of upper and lower lids. lightest color to line the bottom eyeline.

bourjois liner clubbing in absolute black. fixed the crooked line with sn cream liner in tarnish. it has some subtle smokey effect with this combination.

rimmel 100% waterproof mascara in black.

pf cream to powder blush in rose palette.

sn lipstick in nectar.
