i was excited when i spotted nyx products at my local terry whites chemist. it wasn't the full range. i only found eye and lip pencils with limited color choices. they're $3 each.

testers weren't available and i didn't have enough thick skin to test thesse pencils at the site. i bought 1 pencil to see how i like it.

i chose #913 sapphire. it's a dark blue. i thought that if the color isn't very pigmented, i should be able getting some color out of a darker color.

being called eye / eyebrow pencil, do people use these unconventional colors on their brows?

2 strokes of color at the back of my hand. the pencil itself is hard and needed a bit of pressure to get such color intensity. the minute i tested at the back of my hands, i knew it wouldn't work on the delicate skins on the eyes.

when drawn on my eyes, i need to slightly pull my skin to get the color on my top lash line. and it hurts when drawn on my waterline!

i was so tempted to get those colorful pencils but i'm glad i only bought 1.

for a pencil this hard, it's more appropriate using on the brows, but i'm unsure if i want to get out of the house with a pair of dark blue brows...

i had high hope for this pencil and i'm disappointed!

using the pencil on my waterline. i could hardly get any colors when drawn straight from the pencil. i tried to get some color onto a flat angle brush. just got only that teeny tiny bit more color. it didn't last long on me too. it's gone in about 2-3 hrs.

it's another non-working day, taking pretty girl to see doctor and rest at home. i did a minimal makeup.

i used benefit creaseless cream shadow liner in flatter me all over the lids. the darkest brown eyeshadow from nyx 10 color eyeshadow palette in secret world to line the top lashline.

this photo is taken straight after putting on makeup and you could hardly see the liner on my lower lashline.
