wet n wild coloricon palette in greed. this was previously featured. this photo is a better representation of the colors on the palette. the photo from previous post was taken indoor under down lights. this was taken near window getting good morning sunlight.
not sure if it's obvious, the colors on the left are matte and the colors on the right are shimmery.
i haven't used this palette much because i was disappointed with the lack of pigmentation. i couldn't swatch the colors because apart from the dark colors, they hardly show up.
since it's weekend and i'm usually after simple natural looks on weekends, i decided to give it another chance.
somehow, i quite like it this time! and it didn't crease as bad as my previous uses. hmmm....
look of the day
the lightest color was used as a base all over the eye lid.
the shimmery mid-tone color was applied to inner 1/2 of the top lid and the matte mid-tone color as appllied to outer corner of the eyes.
the darkest black was used as thick eyeliner on the outer corner and the shimmery grey was used to blend out the black towards the inner corner of the eyes.
the bluish grey (top right color) was used on the outer lower lashline and blend the color towards the inner corner with the shimmery mid-tone color.
all colors from this palette are used!
my lashes were coated with the black from maybelline xxl volumne + length microfiber mascara. i don't like it but i don't want it to go wasted.
the not-very-pigmented property of the colors is perfect for natural look. you don't want too much color. even though i did apply a lot of colors, i looked like i didn't use much. effortless look!
on my lips, l'oreal shine delice in peacon pie (discontinued product).
