my previous loving mascara, rimmel sexy curve mascara, isn't working for me any more. only just about a month of daily usage. either it's dried up or that's all it's having.
mascara is my only stingy product. what do i mean by stingy? usually when i buy something new, i have to try straight away. but with mascaras, i only open 1 tube at a time, due to its short life span after opening.

i have a few mascaras in-waiting. i chose bourjois volume clubbing mascara in absolute black. i bought it with the other eyeliners when all bourjois products were 50% off. i like the eyeliner in the same range and i thought it should be good.

but when i opened the tube, i was disappointed. the wand looks clogged with too much product. it's hard to focus on the bristle - iphone has no such functionality. it just doesn't look like how normal wands pick up colors. it's picking too excessive product!
most drugstore products in australia aren't packaged. sometimes you can just open the product for testing. most mascaras and eye pencils are sticky-taped to prevent this. so i'd very much like to believe that the product is new.
it's also not easy to apply with a clogged wand. i don't have the best mascara skill and this is just hard to work with. it doesn't coat every single lashes or it's depositing too much.
my short invisible lash do seem a bit longer and more visible. as said, it doesn't coat all lashes. and the lashes seem clumped. i had to brush the lashes to remove any excess afterwards.
it also doesn't hold the curls.
is it the faulty wand or the product?
even though i got it at 50% off (about aud$10, if i remember correctly) it's not worth it!
return it? i doubt they take return on used product. and it was bought a while ago. i believe i have thrown away the recipt.
i don't look like a panda by the end of the day. this is the only positive thing i can think of.
