more like a vampire?

alice cullen makeup tutorial by nic of pixiwoo, my absolute favorite youtube makeup gurus!
alice cullen is one of my favorite character in the twilight saga. she's so pretty! i love her even more than bella.
since i'm into earthy tones recently, i've been thinking about the alice cullen look. this makeup tutorial came at a perfect time. :)
i didn't exactly follow this look, since i can't go to work looking like this! esp with those dark circles! i purposely left concealer to the last to see what it looks like... i did look like a vampire with my natural dark circles... is it good or bad? :/ too bad i didn't have time to take a snap of this pre-concealer look.
look of the day
this is quite different from a previous vampire look inspired by one of nikkietutorials. i think this an easier and simpler version.

i used 2-eyeshadow technique on my eyes. with savvy by db mono eyeshadow in peach (a pretty golden peach) all over the eyes and urban decay eyeshadow in roach (dark brown) on the outer v. blend with sigma makeup's small blending brush.
bourjois contour clubbing waterproof eyepencil in black party to tightline the top lash line and to draw the top liner. smudge with bourjois duochrome liner in brun mordore (brown), and line the lower lashline with the same pencil.
rimmel 100% waterproof mascara was used. i'm very impressed that my lashes are still curled at the end of the day.

i know, i look nothing like alice cullen :/
revlon photoready foundation in shell was used. it's my lightest shade foundation and is quite a perfect match for my skin tone at the moment. maybe a tad bid paler. but i love paler look.
on my lips, the old revlon colorstay lipcolor in raisin.

i look so much paler here because it was taken near outdoor where there it gets strong morning sunlight.
i tried not to smile because vampires should look cool. but i look mean when i don't smile. :/ that's why i usually smile in my photos.
i also noticed that my eyes looked so transparent brown today. is it the makeup or my imagination? and no, i don't wear contacts. i haven't been wearing them since i had lasik. my eyes are naturally lighter in color than most asians. so is my hair.

@linda, do you mean i look scary? :p
@cynthia, mysterious... i like it! :) you should try more 'complicated' and colorful looks beside basic and simple. play around when you're at home and not going out. take pics. then you'll eventually work out what dramatic looks work for you.
