like a vampire?

katherine pierce - the vampire diaries makeup series by nikkie tutorials.
i don't know who the actress is because i don't watch that drama. in fact i don't think it's aired in australia (yet?) maybe it's aired but i don't watch tv that much.
nikkie is one of my favorite youtuber. the amazing thing is, she's only 16 and she's so good with makeup!
look of the day
i rarely wear her looks. see, she's 16. i'm obviously older than that. i'm too old to wear most of her looks.
but i'm wearing the look inspired by this makeup tutorial mainly because of the earthy tones used. which can be adapted to something more wearable by me and for work. i was also bored with the liquid eyeliner looks used in past week. i wanted a new look!

i know, this doesn't really look like the look in th tutorial. but techniques used to achieve the look is quite similar. darker color on the crease lines and lighter color on eye lids. rimmed the eyes with eyeliner. i also used a darker lip color instead.
for foundation, i used revlon photoready makeup liquid foundation in shell. i haven't touched this for a while because the color was a bit too light a few months ago, after i was tanned from summer days. now, after months of rainy days without sun, my skin has paled (yay!) and this becomes my perfect match!
love this foundation! (thank you cynthia!)
my only problem with this look is, the lower eyeliners disappears as time goes by. i've tried various eye pencils. even my current favorite waterproof one by bourjois, they still disappear! i've tried wearing the product alone, or set it with eyeshadows. same result. i'd appreciate any tips to keep the liner. at least, don't fade by mid-day!
that's why i try to keep my lower eyelids free of colors most times.

I'm glad you are liking the photo ready. I heard many raves about this, maybe I should give it another try. I heard some people said that if you mix the Revlon HD ready with another revlon foundation you get good results which is comparable to MAC foundation.
@cynthia, the only other revlon foundation i have now is colorstay. wonder if mixing colorstay and photo ready works. i haven't used mac foundation for too long, i can't remember what it's like.
