eyeshadow creasing has always been my biggest problem.
i blame it on how my eyes fold. when eyes are opened, my double-lids are completely hidden behind the fold. with so much blinking actions during the day, the eyeshadow inevitably moved to the crease. by the end of the day nothing stayed on my eye lids. the colors swim to the crease forming a strong solid line. no a pretty sight.
i've tried a lot of crease prevention tricks. i've tried quite a few primers from various brands. i can't really remember all of them. one of the last ones i tried was a product by benefit. i can't remember the name and i can't seem to find it on the website. it was purchased a few years ago after hearing some great reviews about it. nope, didn't work for me.
one of the recent one i tested was laura mercier eye basics. it also didn't work. i still ended up with colors in my crease, as if nothing was applied.
eventually i gave up. i didn't want to waste any more money, esp when products cost 2x as much in australia.
until i tried this.

too faced shadow insurance. retail price in australia is aud$36. it's one of the primers i'd like to try after seeing gurus used it in their makeup tutorials. either they're not available or too pricy here...
this was one of the goodies gifted by peony in love. i can't say how much i thank you for this!
how i love this product. my eye makeup is not a mess by the end of the day. the color stays where they are, most times.
i have to say most times. i don't know if it's to do with my applications. sometimes, only sometimes, i get teeny tiny bit of crease, if you look closely. you'll have to kiss me to see that.
but i'm not fuzzy. the most important thing is, eyeshadows stay where they are. i still have colors on my lids. i do not get that yucky line on my crease.
