i hope everyone had a great chinese new year, whether you celebrate it or not.

darling girl cosmetics eyeshadow in dragon's breath. it was gwp with purchase $10 or more from last year's black friday sale. i chose to wear this eyeshadow on chinese new year because it has the name 'dragon' which matches the chinese zodiac for this year. the pretty sparkles are to die for!

dragon's breath is such a pretty color. looks sort of blackish blue or green on my eyes with loads of golden sparkles. it's so hard to capture the sparkles on camera.

i first primed my eyes with 2 layers of udpp followed by evil shades spectrum pots in absorbed near the lashline. padded darling girl cosmetics eyeshadow in dragon's breath all over the lid and outer lower lashline, silk naturals eyeshadow in u r cute at inner corner and inner lower lashline, black rose minerals eyeshadow in bonehead on the brow bone.

top lashline was tightlined with maybelline eyestudio master pricise eyeliner. lashes coated with maybelline colossal mascara and inner corner lashes with maybelline great lash lots of lashes mascara.

i didn't have time to redo my makeup for the family reunion dinner. face was oilier and eyeshadow creased slightly after the whole day. did a bit of blotting and powdering to freshen up the look.

i intensified the eyes more for the evening. re-touched up the top lashline with maybelline eyestudio precision eyeliner, lined the top lashline with maybelline gel liner in charcoal. added more dragon's breath all over the lid and lower lashlines.

the look i went to work with. on my lips, morgana cryptoria lipstick in it girl.

the evening look was the same, except that the eyes looked more intensified and more sparkly. not showing it because, well, you know, they didn't look good. :p

look on 2nd day of chinese new year. on my eyes morgana cryptoria eyeshadow in cornea and on my lips morgana cryptoria lipstick in azalea blue.
