dior spring / summer 2011 looks. images downloaded via google image search.
i fell in love with these bright bold colors when i saw these pics from the dior's fashion show.
from the backstage video, various bold colors are used besides the 3 colors shown above.
i'm also tempted to cut my fringe like that... but it took me so long to grow them out and i know i won't look good in them. maybe i should try those clip-on fringes to see how it goes.
look of the week
don't expect me doing the same look as the photos. they were for fashion show. too strong and dramatic for everyday office look. i don't have the exact colors. i was just having some fun trying out some stronger-than-usual looks inspired by these fashion show photos.

created with black rose minerals eyeshadow in firefly. this red is a bit more orangy in real life.

on my lips, revlon matte lipstick in really red.

tried red eye look again. with silk naturals eyeshadow in flame. this red is more pinkish in real life.

on my lips, revlon matte lipstick in really red again.
the 2 red looks look almost similar.

nyx eyeshadow in mermaid was smudged all over the lashline as base and brm eyeshadow in gremlin.

i purposely applied more green to the eye, way above the crease, so that you can see more colors when my eyes are opened. with the previous 2 looks, hardly any colors showed up when my eyes are opened.
photo usually shows colors a lot lighter. you an imagine how strong it is in real life. a bit too dramatic for office environment! luckily i don't have to meet people or clients. my job is to hide behind workstations.

on my lips, revlon colorburst lipcolor in carnation, with red lipliner as base. i was going to do strong red lips, but the green eyes are already too dramatic!
maybelline stiletto liquid eyeliner was used in all these looks. this eyeliner is reaching the end of its lifetime. it's getting drier now so it's harder to draw a nice winged line. i'm undecided if i should replace it or try something else. how i wish the maybelline gel liners work for me. ok, i haven't tried black, is black better than the other colors?
