the movie ticket gift voucher. there are movies the husband wanted to watch but he saved it to watch satc2 with me. :)

see 'la premiere'? i thought the gift is for la premiere seats until i was told to pay extra for that. no thanks. you just got bigger seats and got some extra services like wines. but the only extra service i might use are just soft drinks and popcorns, which isn't worth that extra payment.

i read that a lot of the girls got dressed up and watched this movie with their girlfriends. i don't have girlfriends to go with. and it's dark. i don't know who or what i dress up for.

i did a super minimal look with just 3 products. garden botanika eyeshadow in stone (as brow powder). bourjois healthy mix concealer in medium radiance. bourjois healthy mix natural lipstick in rose delicat.

from the packaging you can probably tell that the gb eyeshadow is quite old. i bought it when i went honeymoon in the states 10+ years ago. this is one of my recent discoveries of old products. it's dark grey but the color isn't so intense. i find that my brows still look 'too done' in my usual minimal makeup looks. browns look obviously not my natural color. black is just too much. this color is perfect. still gives my brows some colors yet appear unmakeup.

bourjois healthy mix concealer is one of my recent purchase at 50% off. i've been religious user of cream based concealers believing they're the only solution to minimize fine lines around my eyes. i only bought this because it's 50% off. and i love it! it's cream to powder formula. gives great coverage and doesn't emphasize the fine lines - if you use the correct amount. /big thumbs up!

bourjois sweet kiss natural lipstick in rose delicat is another buy at 50% off. love the creamy texture. love the brownish tone. it gives my lips some color yet make them appears as if it's my natural lip color. not to mention the soothing but barely-there scent when applied on the lips. i love it!

i wish the sale was longer because i wanted to go back to get more colors! oh well, i'm sure they'll have another big sales soon.

look of the night

this is what i went to movies with, taken under the bathroom down lights. my undereyes looked darker because of the shadow casted by the light.

this is what i looked like during the day. with lipstick next to my face to compare the color of my lips and the lipstick. the colors are quite wysiwyg.

i liked how unmakeup it looked so much i reproducted the look again tonight.

perhaps only makeup addicts would go through the trouble of trying out unmakeup looks and even document how it's done?! lol!

what i think of the movie

i'm not sure... i don't think it's bad but i don't think it's that good. it's not very sex and the city.

the usual unrealistic-ness... how do you travel around and walk in desert with 3" high heels?? how did they fit all their fashion for the trip in those luggages??

the realistic issues... from being single to being married couples and motherhood.

carrie is such a selfish bitch. when she needed a break she just left. when mr big suggested having a break weekly she made an issue out of it. oh that kiss with aiden, she might as well shut up if she didn't want to sabotage her marriage! but we all know mr big would forgive her.

i love mr big! he's hot!!

the best thing from this movie... the good old samantha is back! she's my favorite character. it was so funny seeing her restraining herself in the previous movie but it was not her! i was quite disappointed not seeing 'the samantha'. now, this is 'the samantha'! i laughed so hard with her scenes.

but i'm definitely not like samantha in real life! i probably secretly wish i was... :p

love charlotte too! esp when she admits that when samantha suggested her hot nanny could get into her marriage, she worried more of loosing a good nanny. ha! i could relate so much! i love my kids but there are times i wish i could get rid of them so i can have my me-time. like tonight! sent them to mil's place and had a night out with the husband! :)
