i want that blue lids

i watched corpse bride over the weekend. usually character in animations are cute or pretty. even if it's as ugly as shrek, he's still cute. but the characters in this movie are not very attractive. they are quite eerie.
the main character, the corpse bride, is quite scary! but i couldn't help noticing how pretty her blue lids are when she closed her eyes.

i was looking all over the place with an image of her with her eyes closed so i can have a look at her blue lids. i finally turned to youtube so i can stop the frame to take a screen shot. if i remember correctly this comes the tube with the movie's theme song.
i was looking for tutorials on a wearable version of this look. but all i could find are recreating her whole look which is more sutiable for halloween. not something i want.
i also searched my collection for a really blue eyeshadow. i have so many blues, but nothing as pretty as the blue on her lid. you need something really really blue.
even if i have the blue, i don't think i can carry that look. i don't have huge crease that.
look of the day

i wasn't trying to create the corpse bride look today. it just so happened i digged out a blue shadow and decided to use it.
it's edm's 10 items or less. i've used this item in this look - refer to look #1.
this blue doesn't look that good on me. since i had success with foiling and eyeshadow i didn't like, i thought i'll experiment with this one.
the color looks somewhat shimmery, but when foiled it didn't have the shinny foil effect. however the blue looks more intense and looks a lot better on me.
though it looks quite natural in the pic, the whole lid looks quite bluish in real life.
as busy mom who doesn't have much time to put on makeup in mornings, i'm a fan of using single eyeshadow color. i don't have time to mix and match and blend blend blend. just swipe one color and blend it out with blending brush. quick and easy.
for those who are interested with what's on my lips. it's discontinued l'oreal shine delice in peacan pie. it's sheer brownish and plummish in color.
somehow i think this look would be perfect with a pinkish lip, just like corpse bride. but i can't wear something that pink like hers.
corpse bride inspired look
i'm looking into doing a corpse bride inspired wearable look. i just need to find that perfect blue.
if you have any suggestions for the look, and / or if you have done a smiliar look, please link your post or picture in comments.
