how sexy can your lashes be?

makeup

another purchase on the weekend. just because it's marked down $10 form the normal retail price $18.

rimmel sexy curves mascara

rimmel sexy curves waterproof mascara.

i never really looked at this line mainly because i dont like the face of this brand. it got me interested because this mascara is often used in pixiwoo makeup tutorials. though i can't remember if they used the normal one or the waterproof one.

i always choose waterproof mascara because my straight pointing-downward lashes deposit colors on the bottom of my eyes making me look like a panda instantly. sadly the waterproof formula was out of stock when i went back to get more.

sexy curves - the wand

the wand, though it looks more like shadow of the wand. lol! the bristles aren't like the typical mascara wands. they're short and sparse. looking at it initially i couldn't help wondering how it's going to coat my lashes.

i have to say, omg! it's the best i've tried, so far! i haven't tried many since mascara was re-introduced back into my makeup routines. i usually need at least 4 or 5 coats to see my lashes. with sexy curves, i could see them with just 2 coats! and the curls last longer too!

because it requires less coats, my lashes don't feel heavy. i don't feel my lashes everytime i blink my eyes.

wearing sexy curves

look of yesterday, wearing the sexy curves mascara. makeup is the same except that i was wearing sn lipsticks in berry nice in this photo.

look of the day

look of today, wearing sexy curves mascaras.

can you see my lashes? my short almost invisible lashes are there!! don't i look more awake?

ok, you can't really see them from the photos. in fact you can't really see them unless you're really close to my face. but it makes me feel good that i finally have lashes on my eyes!

makeup today is more or less the same as yesterday, except the subtle smokey eyes created with revlon sandstorm quad. i'm so in love with this quad again, now that my eyeshadows do not crease with help of eye primer - too faced shadow insurance.

Is you typical daily make routine include putting on mascara?

On my typical causal day I opt out using mascara. I'm not a mascara fan at all, I personally think it can get messy. I got mascara called Fresh and it wasn't waterproof but I like that it feels really light on me.

By the way you look lovely. I'm not that dedicated like you to do FOTD plus a good excuse that I lost my camera charger.

@cynthia, i try to remember to include mascara in my routine. maybe you should try waterproof ones to see if it's less messy.
thanks for the compliment. :) i try to document what makeup i use but i don't know if it's interesting for anyone else. for me it's also to review if the look suits me or not. i only take pics on my way to work in the car and that's the only time i have time to do it.
