bright fuschia lips with winged eye makeup tutorial by pixiwoo.

this looks super easy. it's just skin toned eyeshadow, a pretty winged eyeliner, and super bright and bold lipstick.

but my attempts to recreate the look fails. either the lines not winged enough or winged to the wrong direction. i have paused and replayed the part where she applied eyeliner over and over again... maybe i should use gel liners but i don't own any gel liners. i used liquid eyeliners. it shouldn't make much difference if i'm skillful.

simple liquid eyeliner looks

if i don't try to compare my attempts with the exact look in the tutorial, they're not too bad.

highly recommended for busy working moms trying to rush out of the house while doing many things at the same time. though i didn't time myself, i believe i used less time to put on makeup. and if i could master drawing that perfect eyeliner, it'd be super super quick!

i used red lips to pair up with this look because i don't have any fuschia lispticks. i never really liked this color. i'm always associated this color with older women. but i'm adding this color to my wishlist after seeing how pretty sam looked in this tutorial.

here are 3 looks with the 3 savvy by db liquid eyeliners mentioned in previous post.

weary savvy by db liquid eyeliner in olive

using savvy by db liquid eyeliner in olive. a very pretty olive green. this is my favorite out of the 3. maybe because it matches with my skin tone?

on my lips, revlon matte lipstick in really red.

weary savvy by db liquid eyeliner in blueberry

using savvy by db liquid eyeliner in blueberry. this is dark navy and is most dramatic out of the 3. highly recommend this color if you're afraid of using black.

on my lips, revlon matte lipstick in fabulous fig.

with savvy by db liquid liner in plum

using savvy by db liquid eyeliner in plum. this is the most natural / subtle color out of the 3. perfect to practice how to apply liquid eyeliner!

on my lips, i started with revlon colorburst lipstick in carnation. i really want to like this color! but i still didn't like how it looked. so i blotted the color out and added revlon matte lipstick in really red over it.

which one do you like?

but i didn't go for it...i rarely wear lip color.

@annie, show me what it looks like! somehow i don't think winged eye is for me. my lid is folded inside when my eyes are opened and it doesn't really show up.

read the description - doesn't it sound VERY interesting?

she was using the Anime - pink. and i wouldn't wear this color unless i have a perfectly foundationed face, which is never/haven't.

but Hush and Memento look interesting.

(and why would people wear those OTHER colors anyway, black, white, BLUE???)
