do you still remember streetwear makeup?

makeup

while cleaning up my makeup drawers, i found some hidden gems behind the drawers.

the purpose of getting stationary organizer to store my makeup is because of those shallow drawers. makeups can be organized neatly with everything at-a-glance. because i have too many products, there are things pushed to the back. they're not even visible with drawers almost fully pulled out.

streetwear cream shadows

one of which are streewear cream eyeshadows. i thought i threw them out when i spring-cleaned this organizer a few years back. when i re-discovered about cream eyeshadows i was lamenting about them. i was surprised to see them hiding all the way at the back all these time!

streetwear makeup is a younger line by revlon and was discontinued many years ago. obviously i wasn't the targeted age group. but the price tag was really attractive. they were under aud$10. i bought a lot from this line. i mean, a lot!

see when things are cheap i ended up spend more? it's so stupid that products are riduclously overpriced nowadays that i just won't buy unless it's on sale.

makeup from this line is very sheer. though you see 5 different cream shadows on my hand, you can just group them into 2 colors, whitish or greyish. some labels has disintegrated so i can't read the name of these colors. but it's useless information anyway since they're no longer available.

look of the day

since it's weekend, i opted for a clean casual look. the cream shadows are sheer, give some hint of color and shimmer.

streetwear look

and since it's weekend, i had more time in the morning. i can get out of the house to take good pics with good sunlight. doesn't this fotd look so much better when compared to my other fotd's?

items used

blue-ish color from the cream shadows was used all over the top lids and pearlish color at the inner corner.

mac eyeshadow in lyric on the crease. this is a very very light brown. it gives some subtle contour to the eyes.

bourjois contour clubbing eyepencil in black party on lashline. i used a trick i watched in michelle phan's tim burton inspired look to line my eyes. lined the outer corner of lower lid. close eyes to transfer color to the top lashline. not only this is quick, the end result is very subtle and brighten my eyes at the same time. i remember reading this trick long ago but never put it into practice.

red earth blush in sunburst on the cheek. this is another very old product, from the very original red earth store. it's orangy brown - i'm not a fan of orange blush, but when applied lightly it just gives a flush of colors on the cheek.

mac lipstick in cosmo. pretty salmon color. topped with sephora lipgloss in precious pink - this lightens the lipstick color to give a very light dewy look.
