i heard good things about detrivore's eye primer i had to give it a try. as part of my forever quest to find some good eye primers that works for me.

detrivore eyeshadow primer in original.
this is available from the website for usd$5. it comes in 5g jar shrink wrapped.

ingredients on the side. but it comes off with the shrink wrap.

the product itself. thought it looks yellow, it's clear when applied.
my thoughts
i read quite a few raves and impressive reviews i was hoping this could be my next holy grail.
unfortunately i can't make it work. i got a distinct crease line in less than 2hrs. by the end of the day it's oily eyelids all powders swam to the crease with nothing on the skin.
the website says to use just a tiny amount. if used too much, the primer itself creased before anything applied.
eyeshadow colors aren't intense nor vibrant when applied over this primer. it's also difficult to apply it evenly.
i tried picking up product by just wiping my finger across and apply directly. i also tried to prick very small amount with the back of my finger nail. i tried layering over itself.
nothing works.
in action
here's a benchmark working with the same eyeshadow over 2 different primers.

detrivore cosmetics eyeshadow in tak. it's a pretty shimmery golden brown.

applying over 2 layers of udpp. brown with pretty golden sheen. it still looked good by the end of the day.

applied over detrivore eyeshadow primer. just a plain medium brown. where is the golden sheen?
i have the same problem with other eyeshadows. colors aren't intense nor pigmented.

photo taken 3 hours later. now you see the gold, but not where it should be.
another failed product on my oily lids.
