david jones concealer duo

david jones concealer duo in light & medium. it's in cream format.

we have 2 major department stores in australia. david jones is the more stylish one. it has its own brand of cosmetics and skin care range at reasonable price. the color choice is limited.

they just changed a new range of dj cosmetic products. new sleeker prettier packaging. which means the old stocks are marked down. the concealer was marked down to $7.

the best i've tried so far is bobbi brown's creamy concealer. very creamy. very easy to blend. covers well. but it's pricy. cost around aud$45 or somewhere around that range.

for the past few months i've been lazy and just use mineral powder foundation as concealer. because i didn't use the concealer formula, it doesn't cover well. to fully hide the circles, you need a lot of products. when you have too many powders on the fine lines, they are not fine lines anymore.

those mineral makeups do have concealer forumla, which has more coverage. but i've yet found one that matches my color. the samples i got from edm looks too much after applied. and accentuates the fine lines. i don't want to look older than what i really am!

dj's concealer is not as creamy as bb's. easy to apply. covers well <-- the most important of all!

there were only 2 color choice – light or dark. i chose the ligher version. it's not the perfect match but it's very close. after all when choosing concealer you should choose a shade lighter than your skin tone.

i think i'll go back to buy more before they're all sold out!

I didn't go all out on concealer. I used Clinque concealer which was around $15 dollars and covers my dark circles well. I heard Amazing Comestic Concealer was really good, but it's pricey $42 dollars for a 4 oz tube but I heard some didn't work well with them making them feel cakey or something. There's always trial and error, Sephora has a good return policy so whatever don't works could always return it.
