i haven't done many look of the day posts recently. most pics i took didn't turn out good enough for posts. blame it on cloudy days. blame the iphone. blame it on autumn - the direction of sun changed...

you probably have noticed that most photos for look of the day were taken in the car. that's probably my only chance to get good sunlight for photo taking. however since the end of summer, the sun moved to a different position. a lot of times i ended up looking like 鍾無艷.

also blame the time. i've been overlseeping a lot lately. which left me with only 15 mins of time to do my makeup. it could be enough if i'm to do a simple makeup. but most simple makeups don't look good in photos.

look of the day

i love warm bronzy browny colors for the season. it's quite similar to another brown look i did a few weeks ago.

dj creamy concealer in light / medium.

shu uemura translucent loose powder.

too faced shadow insurance.

red earth eyeliner in rock on the brows. it's dark brown.

laura mercier eyeshadow in sandstone all over the eyes, all the way to brow bones. a light shimmery peachy color.

urbane decay eyeshadow in ydk (shimmery brown) at outer corner of the eyes. swipe with blending brush across the crease area.

bourjois contour clubbing eyepencil in black party on top lashline and outer 1/3 of lower lashline.

laura mercier kohl eye pencil in black turquoise on lower lashline.

edm blush in best friends.

maybelline color sensational lipcolor in let me pink.

revlon matte lipstick in really red just on the center of the lips.
