bourjois liner clubbing liquid eyeliner in absolute black and electro blue.
i've been wanting to blog about my first ever liquid eyeliner purchase when i bought them a few weeks ago. i'm waiting for weekends so i can take pics of color swatches. i was either busy or all pics turned out too blurry. :/
i've always stayed away from liquid eyeliners because it's not easy to apply. but i bought these because they were 50% off, down to aud$10.
since it's my first liquid eyeliners, i can't compare with others. i just know that the brush is super thin. however with my lack of skill i always ended up drawing them thicker to fix up mistakes. and if the line went too thick and still too wacky, i use cream eyeliner to smudge the edge out to give a really subtle smokey effect.
absolute black, as the name suggests, is quite black. but i've read some reviews that this black is not very black. but for a liquie eyeliner noob, i think is not too bad. black is a very intense color and it'd be very obvious if there were any mistakes.
electro blue is a very bright blue. this is perfect for a clubbing look.
look of the day
compared with pencil eyeliners or cream eyeliners, liquid eyeliners gives my eyes a better definition. they appears less tired and more awake. i always sleep way past midnight (i know it's bad!) and always look tired in mornings.

the look could have been more perfect if falsies are used. this is something i really am going to try sometimes.
since my dry skin seems somewhat improved, i used mineral powder foundation. bad move. my skin is still dry and it emphasized my frown lines! i better put them away and wait for spring / summer.

wearing bourjois clubbing liners in electro blue last week. you probably have seen this look in previous post.
pics always look more subtle. and if it looks somewhat dramatic in pic, it's very dramatic in real life!
just a warning that electro blue is really hard to remove. i have no problem removing the black color. but removing this blue is such a pain. i used a lot of olive oils, eye makeup removers, and i think the skin on the eyelid became very senstive after extreme rubbing and the stain stayed! i went to sleep with the faint blue stain... luckily the stain was gone by next morning.
