makeuplook

i intended to do a subtle smokey eyes today, but it was more dramatic because i didn't expect the eyeshadow was so pigmented! has anyone ever complain eyeshadow being so pigmented? :p

the eyes were primed with 2 layers of de leon cosmetics primer, and rimmed and messily smudged all over the lids with bourjois effet smokey pencil in #74 grey as base.

black rose minerals eyeshadow in bloody kisses was applied on the lid up to the crease and leftover color on the brush smudged on lower lashline. lioness was added to smoke out the color on the crease and blend towards the brow bone. snow was added to the inner corners.

i spent too much time trying to blend the color out so that it's less dramatic and didn't have time to add eyeliner. the look was much better after i added black liner all around the eyes when i got to the office.

i quite like the smokey eyes i did. i usually ended up looking quite messy when doing smokey eyes. love this color!

if i had not cover my dark circle i could've looked like a vampire! and the vampire look could've been perfect if a darker lip color was used. i planned to do a gradient lips but there wasn't any time left! so i just grabbed what was right in front of me - morgana cryptoria lipstick in countess bathory.

my failed attempt to look like a cool vampire. i look mean when i don't smile...

bloody kisses is part of the lucerferi collection, a set of 8 gorgeous mysterious colors. will be posting a review soon!

de leon cosmetics primer was sent for consideration.
