the color is described as dark red with gold shimmer. though i don't see the gold shimmer as described, it does shimmer.

wearing just bfc eyeshadow in red riding hood all over and around the eye.  i decided not to line my eyes and just complete the look with mascara. it looked quite good!

because i was afraid it might ended up too red, i lightly added and padded the color layer by layer. it didn't look dark red. more of a coppery red.

taking off my makeup about 6hrs later, the shadows are still in place, with barely noticiable bits of shimmer deposited on the crease. this was over 2 layers of evil shade's evil primer.

i also tried the bfc mineral foundation in pale. after trying out medium-pale yesterday, which is paler than my skin tone, i know this is going to be too pale, but gave it a try anyway. it's sunday and i have time to wash it out if i don't like it.

surprisingly, it didn't make my face look grey. i look paler, but in a good way. it seems to blend in perfectly.

prior to this, the only indie mineral foundation i have is from edm. i bought lots of them a while ago. after trying out so many samples (back then you get to choose free samples of your choice with purchase) i decided on 2 colors that i thought matched me (one darker color for summer and one paler color for winter). somehow they didn't make my skin looked that great. and damn, i bought so many and i have to finish them!

the concealer is a bit darker. i should've chosen a lighter color to match the foundation. i definitely would look like a vampire without concealer!

yes, i'm back using hvc lip products after a week's hiatus. there are speculations that worried me. though some complained that their products gone rancid, i went to check mine over and over again. i sniffed them like crazy dog. they're fine.

the thing is, i really love them. great texture. great coverage. great colors.

i really wish i didn't have to file that dispute and wait for my order. but... with the owner uncontactable, i don't know if they'll ever come.

don't ask me if i'll continue to support hvc if it comes back. i don't know...
