with most valentine's makeup tutorials using pinks, this stands out by not using one of the romantic colors. it's simple yet glamorous. my favorite valentine's look in 2011.

there was no valentine's day celebration for us. it was just another usual monday. i'm not too fussed about celebrating on the day. we can celebrate anytime, anyday. am i the only rare female species who doesn't think vday is really that important?

i've been wearing this look the whole week. i don't normally wear similar looks few days in a row, but it's so quick and simple. perfect for a working mom who doesn't have that much time to put on makeups. a more glamorous change to simple looks i've been wearing a lot lately.

the blue k.i.s.s looks

i don't have blue gel liners. i used savvy by db liquid eyeliners in blueberry. i'm surprised after more than 6 months it hasn't dried out. must be one of the most value for money product.

i either keep my eyes clean or use a very neutral or skin toned color on my lids.

i opt for a lighter red lip look so that it's more suitable for office. i used a red lipliner to fill my lips followed by silk natural's lipstick in rare berry. this color is quite light by itself. but looks quite red with red lipliner as base.

a toned down version of previous look. on my lips, the old revlon colorstay lipcolor in sienna.

other k.i.s.s looks

since i recently bought some gel liners, i gotta try looks using these products.

i'm a bit disappointed it was so hard to get enough colors from these maybelline gel liners. i didn't have time to go over the lines again. the eyeliner looks softer and eventually gone by the end of the day.
