after weeks (or perhaps months!) of procrastinating, i finally colored my hair!

this time i used revlon colorsilk in #48 burgundy. it normally retails around aud$12. i bought it from priceline for aud$8 last week.
i've never tried revlon's hair color. i think this has only been released in australia for a few months.

inside the box. instruction leaflet with plastic gloves, the color and color developer, and conditioner.
please correct me if i'm wrong, is this the only hair color that comes with liquid colorant? i like that i don't have to squeeze tube trying to get everything out, but on the same time, i have to be extra careful not to spill it.
i think most applicators comes in clear bottle where you can see if the color has been thoroughly mixed. not this. i had to open the cap to peek several times to make sure they're mixed.

and don't most applicators come with tips that can easily be snipped off? not this one. i had to look for a scissor to do the job.

the back of the box indicating the expected color.

this is the hair color shown on the box.

before and after.look at the regrowth! and the greys! i don't have much greys but they tend to grow on the parts where it's mostly visible.
the greys are covered. the color isn't as burgundy as shown on the package. it's more burgundy when under the sun. my hair is naturally dark and it's hard to achieve the same color unless done professionally at salons.
i've not colored my hair burgundy for ages and it's a nice change, even though it's only a very subtle change.
i like that this is ammonia free. ie it doesn't smell like i just colored my hair. for hair colors that do have that awful smell, it usually lingers on my hair until after 3 or 4 washes.
i like the conditioner that comes with it. it makes my hair so soft. but the smell isn't too pleasing. as usual, i always leave some to condition my hair weekly. normal conditioners just don't leave colors as soft as the conditioners that comes with hair colors.
